If the police have the data, absent some law protecting it (sometimes even if it does!) they WILL use it.
Hell, someone was probably just trying to make their job easier. âWell we got some DNA evidence from the crime scene. What DNA databases do we have other than criminals? Letâs run it through those, maybe we will get a hit.â

It’s just getting to the point where I want to ditch Facebook forever but so many friends and family use it. :/ (And a lot of these people live miles and miles away, so no, I can’t just “visit them in person”. Especially not during a pandemic.)
